The House of Mauro exists to expand the scope of performance art on ice. We enrich the arts community by promoting the newest, avant-garde, and contemporary ideas from the most talented and highly-skilled international ice artists of our generation. Founded by Mauro Bruni in 2019, HOM is a professional performing arts company, and a platform for contemporary ice skating collaboration, creation, and performance. We are inspired by all genres of artistic practice and open to collaboration across a multitude of media. This company is truly by skaters, for skaters. A Note from the Founder: "For many years, it has been a dream of mine to begin a new performance company for ice artists, by ice artists. As the founder of The House of Mauro, my goal is to provide a supportive platform for new visionary talent of our generation to collaborate, create, and perform in a contemporary, boundary-free, respectful environment. I want to inspire the younger generations by sharing our collective love and talents, alongside some of the best international figure skating performers in the industry. This will finally be an opportunity for professional skaters to perform the work of new choreographers, and an opportunity for these new choreographers to showcase their work on a grand scale with the best skaters in the business.
